“… the Mars Hill wind farm should help inform the Reddington debate. It will give people a sense of the visual impact such a project has on a wooded area. It will provide data on how the latest wind mill technology performs in Maine. It will also serve to test the feasibility of wind power in Maine from a financial point of view.
In short, the Mars Hill project is a good first step and a welcome one. Hopefully, Maine will become a leader in generating this kind of clean energy, and approval of the Reddington plan would move the state toward that goal."
